This is the Nationale Militie for Abe Ruurds Hemstra from the Province of Vriesland. The Certificate of The Governor of the Province Vriesland declares that Abe Ruurds Hemstra was born at Britswerd the 10 November 1805. His profession was a workman. He was the son of Solij Runrd Hemstra and of Wijtske Abes. His fathers profession was a workman. He was living in Britswerd within the municipallity of Baarderadeel. He has been inscribed in the Nationale Militie, that he has been acoorded with the lottery of 1821 the number 13, which to this day, 8th of Feburery, not having been called up, has not obliged him to any service.
